Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Coverly. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. The service
Coverly helps users document household contents, supporting evidence, and replacement-value information. Features may change as the service develops.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You give Coverly the limited permission needed to store, process, analyse, reproduce, and export it to provide the service. You must have the right to upload that content.
4. AI and replacement values
AI-generated item details, matches, and value estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review outputs before relying on them. Retail listings and prices can change and may not represent an insurer's accepted value.
5. No insurance, legal, or financial advice
Coverly is a documentation tool and does not provide insurance, legal, financial, valuation, or claims advice. A Coverly inventory or Claim Pack does not guarantee insurance cover, acceptance, settlement, or payment.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the relevant purchase provider. App-store billing, cancellation, and refund rules may also apply. Paid features and fair-use limits are described in the app at purchase.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Coverly, interfere with its operation or security, access another person's account, upload unlawful or harmful content, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use the service to violate any law.
8. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent retention of every file. Keep independent copies of information that is critical to you.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coverly is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or decisions made using AI output, pricing information, or exported documents. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand consumer law.
10. Ending use
You may stop using Coverly or request account deletion. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, non-payment, legal compliance, or material breach of these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as Coverly develops. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably practicable. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law. New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
